The Chin Implant

The surgery of the chin or genioplastie aims to correct a receding or aggressive chin, and mostly to harmonize the profile. Chin implants are used to enhance the shape and appearance of the chin.

Indications:

• The insufficient chin, retreating chin,
  
  
• the expressive chin or over-projected chin, called "witch chin deformity",
  
  
• the high chin.

This intervention concerns the men as well as the women.

This intervention is possible only at the end of the osseous growth which occurs generally after 17 years old. It can be practised exclusively or along with a rhinoplasty.
