Correction of falling breasts

It is a surgical remodelling of the lubricating envelope and glandular fabric of the sagging breast. Sometimes and when it is necessary, compensation for the loss of volume is corrected by the placement of a prosthesis filled with physiological salt solution. The contour is thus rebuilt, and the ptôsis removed.

Intended for women who have been pregnant, have breast feed, or after a sudden lose of weight, saw their chest slack and loose volume. The chest becomes too low, and seems formless, giving the aspect of "toilet glove". In the case of large breast, a volume reduction is required. If they are slackened with an insufficient volume, a prosthesis may compensates for this lack and is placed in front or behind the muscle pectoral, depending on the thickness of the glandular envelope. Several scenarios can arise. The surgeon advises his patient of the most relevant technique.
